TL;DR
Use Me VS Me to track your habits, focus and mood. Don't try to break it, resell it, or use it for anything illegal. We do our best to keep it running and safe, but software is software — we can't promise it's perfect. You can cancel any time and your content stays yours.
The service
Me VS Me ("the service") is a habit-tracking, focus-timing and journaling app, available on the web and (later) as native apps. It's operated by Me VS Me B.V., a Dutch company.
By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy policy.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Me VS Me.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. Don't share them.
- One human, one account. Don't create automated accounts.
- You can have only one free plan per person. Don't farm them.
Plans & billing
We offer:
- Starter — free, forever, with sensible limits (3 habits).
- Pro — €7/month or yearly with discount. Unlocks unlimited habits, full analytics, themes, sync & widgets.
- Elite — €14/month, includes up to 5 linked seats and shared dashboards.
Prices exclude VAT where applicable; VAT is shown at checkout. We may change prices on future renewals, but we'll always email you at least 30 days before any change takes effect — and you can cancel before that.
Payments are processed by Stripe (web), RevenueCat / Apple / Google (mobile). We don't store your full card details.
Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no proration, no clawback.
If you're not happy, email us within 30 days of your first paid charge and we'll refund it, no questions asked. After that, refunds are at our discretion.
If you delete your account, we wipe your data per our retention policy. We do not refund pre-paid time after deletion unless covered above.
Your content
Anything you write, log, or upload to Me VS Me is yours. We don't claim any ownership.
You grant us the limited rights we need to run the service — i.e., to store, sync, back up and display your content back to you. We will never publish your private content, sell it, use it for ads, or train AI models on it.
You're responsible for what you put in. Don't store illegal content. We can remove anything that violates these terms.
Acceptable use
Be reasonable. Specifically, do not:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or rebuild the service.
- Probe security without explicit written permission — but see our [email protected] for good-faith disclosure.
- Send spam or abuse via our notification system.
- Use the service for anything illegal under Dutch or EU law.
- Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity.
- Try to overload the infrastructure (rate limits exist for a reason).
No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We give no warranties — express or implied — about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of analytics, or uninterrupted availability. Streaks are real but reality is messy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability over any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us during that period (which may be €0 on the free plan).
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost streaks, lost productivity, missed deadlines, etc.
Nothing here limits liability that can't be excluded by law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct).
Termination
You can stop using the service whenever you want.
We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice unless the breach is serious enough that immediate action is needed (fraud, security threat, etc.). On termination, sections that should reasonably survive — IP, liability, governing law — survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes. Material updates (anything that affects your rights, plans, or what we can do with your data) trigger an email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don't like the new terms, you can cancel before they apply.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute that can't be settled by email goes to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. EU consumers keep all mandatory rights in their country of residence.
